We are looking for a skilled and experienced OSP Technician to join our telecom team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, testing, and maintenance of fiber optic networks within GPON/FTTx environments, ensuring all project activities are completed according to client standards and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform fiber optic splicing and termination (FTB, IDF & various FPP types)
- Execute cabling and jointing for ISP/OSP infrastructure
- Operate fiber testing equipment such as OTDR, OPM, OLS, VFL & Fiber Identifier (FI)
- Handle project activities from survey to final implementation
- Coordinate with Field Engineers, Site Supervisors, and Team Leads
- Read and interpret SLD, DD, and network diagrams
- Ensure proper documentation and site reporting (photos, records, etc.)
- Follow SOW and client SOP/guidelines to meet project goals
